Dishwasher - Daytime Weekends

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Job description: Duties and responsibilities: Ability to work day time hours, including Weekends, between 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Thoroughly and quickly rinse and scrub (as appropriate) all incoming dirty dishware Keeping incoming dish line free and clear at all times. Sorting garbage from food waste into compost bucket, or garbage can bins. Loading and unloading dishwasher in a quick and efficient manner Check dishwasher fluid levels daily and checking for proper operation. Be aware of water conservation Return clean dishware to proper places, checking for cleanliness and spots, taking care to double check silverware for no spots or remaining food. Rinse and wash in dishwasher plastic and metal batter dispensers. Wash in the three bay sink pots/pans/tubs/dishes from the kitchen, waitstaff, and bakery lines as needed. Keep area clean Assist with afternoon clean-up and closing duties including: general stocking and clean-up per end of day closing list position expectations: Perform above duties to insure that all dishware is impeccably cleaned in a quick and thorough manner. Must be team oriented General Knowledge and Skills Required

• 17 years or older
• Personable and friendly and tolerant of customers and co-workers
• Able to understand and give verbal and written directions.
• Ability to work and keep up in a fast paced environment
• The ability to remain calm and be able to concentrate under distracting conditions.
• Have reliable transportation
• Must be able to reach and safely work with equipment and counters at a standard height, lift and carry objects up to 50lbs short distances and must be able to maneuver doorways, stairs and ramps easily tolerate standing for long periods of time.
• Tolerant of close working conditions.
• Ability to work 8 hour shifts with short sporadic breaks in conditions that at times get noisy, warm and greasy.
• Must have the ability to function under pressure 1 year experience preferred Weekend availability required
