Responsibilities Assist with food preparation by chopping, slicing, measuring ingredients, and organizing supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations Cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards while maintaining consistency and quality Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations Support the kitchen team in meal assembly and plating for dine-in or catering orders Handle dishwashing duties efficiently to keep the kitchen running smoothly and uphold sanitation standards Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure safety at all times Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of supply needs Qualifications Previous experience in a food service setting such as a restaurant, catering operation, or dietary department is highly preferred Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety practices Strong knife skills and familiarity with meal preparation processes Experience with menu planning, food handling, and food safety regulations Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues Basic understanding of dietary aide responsibilities or dietary department experience is a plus Join us if you're eager to grow your culinary career in a lively environment that values dedication, skill development, and teamwork.
