Duties Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and safety standards. Support the cooking process by handling ingredients, chopping, and portioning to ensure timely meal production. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookware to uphold hygiene standards. Help with food handling and storage to ensure freshness and prevent cross-contamination. Follow food safety protocols during all stages of meal preparation and service. Support catering events or special functions by preparing ingredients or assisting with setup as needed. Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively with chefs and fellow staff members. Requirements Previous experience in food industry roles such as restaurant work, dietary aide positions, or catering is preferred. Knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and proper sanitation practices. Basic knife skills and familiarity with meal preparation techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Willingness to learn new culinary skills and adapt to different kitchen roles.
