DISHWASHER- EVENT'S DEPARTMENT

STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Under the direction of the Head Chef, the Dishwasher is responsible for dishwashing and kitchen cleaning duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Washing all wares, including pots, pans, glasses, dishes and utensils by hand or using dishwashers. 2. Ensure work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines and regulations regarding health, safety, and sanitation. This includes following all health department regulations for dish water and rinse. 3. Clean and mop the kitchen and take out all trash at the end of the night. 4. Perform other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND TRAINING
Ability to understand and follow directions. Ability to understand and meet restaurant standards for health and safety. Ability to remain alert and focused in an environment that is noisy and fast-paced. Ability to work effectively with kitchen staff. Knowledge of restaurant functions and duties that are required.
ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Must be approved for and maintain a valid Video Lottery Gaming Service Employee license issued by the New York State Gaming Commission.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This is an active role with prolonged periods standing or walking. This position includes tasks that may require the ability to lift, carry or move up to 50 pounds at a time and bend or stoop as necessary. Must frequently immerse hands in water and be able to work in a hot and damp environment. Effective communication is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.

Must be available to work nights, weekends, and on holidays.
