Duties Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or manual methods. Maintain a clean and organized dish area by regularly wiping down surfaces and disposing of waste properly. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients when needed. Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and ensuring dining areas remain tidy throughout service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes and utensils for food service operations. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling, sanitation standards, and equipment operation. Help with basic catering and banquet setups by organizing serving ware and ensuring cleanliness of all items used. Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential! Knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling safety standards, and sanitation practices. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization. Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or special event days such as banquets or catering functions. Basic understanding of kitchen operations including bussing, food preparation, and serving is a plus. A positive attitude with excellent teamwork skills to support a fast-paced environment.
