Job Description

Job Summary:
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment used in the amphitheater's food service operations. This role supports kitchen staff during concerts, festivals, and large events by ensuring a steady supply of clean items and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or by hand. Maintain a constant flow of clean dishes during high-volume events and peak service times. Properly store cleaned items in designated kitchen areas. Sweep and mop kitchen floors and keep dishwashing area clean and organized. Remove trash and recycling from kitchen and dish area as needed. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning tasks or light prep when required. Monitor dishwashing supplies (detergent, sanitizer, racks) and notify supervisors when low. Support breakdown and cleanup after events and concerts.
Qualifications:
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30-40 lbs. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during events. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
Work Environment:
Busy kitchen environment during concerts, festivals, and large public events. Exposure to heat, noise, and cleaning chemicals. Flexible hours based on event schedules.
Typical Schedule:
Part-time or seasonal Shifts typically scheduled around event times (afternoons, evenings, late nights)
