Responsibilities Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following proper food handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is in good working order. Assist with food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods. Support catering and banquet events by providing clean dishware and assisting with setup or breakdown as needed. Follow safety protocols and sanitation standards to uphold health regulations and prevent cross-contamination. Manage waste disposal efficiently, ensuring recycling practices are followed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours. Qualifications Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is valued! Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items or moving supplies. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude in fast-paced settings. Familiarity with kitchen equipment, including dishwashers and sanitation tools, is a plus. Experience with catering or banquet services enhances your candidacy but is not mandatory.
