Responsibilities Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, glassware, and other kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly. Assist with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients when needed. Support the cleaning of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to uphold health and safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely clearing of tables during busy service periods and assist with bussing duties as required. Help with catering and banquet setups by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use. Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain hygiene standards across all tasks. Maintain a positive attitude and work in harmony with team members to ensure a smooth kitchen operation. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are most important. Familiarity with basic cleaning procedures, food handling safety protocols, and kitchen operations is advantageous. Experience in banquet service or catering environments can be beneficial but is not mandatory. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting is essential.
