Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our dynamic food service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment, ensuring a smooth operation in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the hospitality industry and develop skills applicable across various culinary and service settings. Duties Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables and cleaning workstations Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, counters, and other surfaces to uphold health standards Handle food handling procedures in accordance with safety regulations Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen organization as needed Ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables in compliance with sanitation policies Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods Skills Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Basic understanding of kitchen operations including bussing, cleaning, and food preparation Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately Experience with culinary tasks such as cooking or serving is a plus but not required Hospitality experience or banquet experience can be advantageous for supporting event setups Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed This position provides valuable exposure to the hospitality industry while contributing to a clean and efficient kitchen environment.
