Position Summary The Dishwasher supports kitchen operations through the cleaning, organization, and maintenance of kitchen equipment, dishware, utensils, and back-of-house workspaces. This role plays an essential part in maintaining Milos' standards of cleanliness, food safety, efficiency, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish stations, kitchen areas, storage spaces, and service areas Support kitchen setup, stocking, and breakdown procedures throughout service Execute daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules Assist with waste removal and maintain proper sanitation practices Follow food safety, health, and workplace safety standards at all times Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently Monitor inventory levels of cleaning and dishwashing supplies and communicate restocking needs Support the culinary team as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with opening, service, and closing standards Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready back-of-house environment Knowledge, Experience & Skills Previous dishwasher, steward, kitchen utility, or restaurant experience preferred Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendanc Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential job functions safely and successfully consistent with ADA, FMLA, and applicable federal, state, and local requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 25-50 lbs regularly Ability to place dishes, cookware, and supplies on both low and high shelving Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, reaching, and repetitive movement Ability to perform effectively in an active kitchen environment with varying temperatures and extended periods of standing Compensation The base pay range for this position is between $17-$19 per hour.
