Position Summary The Dishwasher Supervisor supports the daily operations of the dishwashing and porter team while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and organization throughout the kitchen and restaurant facilities. This role works closely with the culinary and management teams, helping ensure smooth communication between AM and PM shifts and efficient back-of-house operations. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support the dishwashing and porter team during daily operations Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, kitchen equipment, and back-of-house areas Communicate operational needs, sanitation priorities, and equipment concerns with culinary and management teams Ensure smooth shift transitions through clear communication between AM and PM teams Uphold and enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times Assist with training team members on proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols Support waste management and organization of storage and disposal areas Desired Qualifications Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant or kitchen environment Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Knowledge of sanitation and workplace safety standards Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented mindset Buddakan NY is an equal opportunity employer.
