Duties Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas meet health and safety standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables, organizing supplies, and handling basic food prep under supervision. Support catering and banquet events by providing clean dishware and assisting with setup or cleanup as needed. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and safety compliance at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours by promptly clearing tables and managing dish flow. Keep inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock needs replenishing. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and food handling safety standards. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with bussing, food preparation, catering, or banquet experience is a plus. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary operations. Basic understanding of kitchen safety protocols and sanitation practices. Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
