In this role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and efficient food preparation to support our culinary team. Duties Maintain cleanliness of all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment through thorough washing and sanitizing processes Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and cooks Support catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies and ensuring timely delivery of prepared items Uphold food safety standards by properly handling food items and maintaining hygiene protocols in accordance with health regulations Clear tables, bus dishes from dining areas, and ensure the overall cleanliness of service spaces to promote a positive guest experience Assist with basic kitchen organization including stocking supplies, cleaning workstations, and disposing of waste properly Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential Knowledge of food handling procedures and basic kitchen safety practices Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy trays or equipment Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail-oriented work ethic Experience with bussing tables, food preparation, or catering is a plus but not mandatory Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of culinary or hotel operations is advantageous but not necessary Embark on a rewarding journey where your dedication keeps our kitchens running smoothly!
