Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to the overall efficiency of our food service operations in a restaurant or hospitality setting. Duties Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or by hand. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed. Assist with food preparation tasks as required, ensuring that all food handling guidelines are followed. Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and support during peak hours. Follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices. Participate in regular cleaning schedules for kitchen appliances and storage areas. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
