$16.23 Per Diem
GENERAL SCOPE
Receives pots, pans, inserts and sheet pans to be scraped and prewashed. Washes, rinses and sanitizes all items free of food particles and lets them air dry before storing them. Performs general cleaning of kitchen stations, mops kitchen floors/disposes of garbage. Assists dining services manager with stocking all orders in their assigned storage area. Works within all the Kosher laws.
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION
High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be able to read, write, add, subtract, communicate in English and follow directions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Cleans all pots, pans, dishes, flatware and inserts. Returns all cleaned items to their proper storage areas. Cleans and sanitizes food carts. Breaks down boxes for recycling and removes all garbage to dumpster area. Mops floors in kitchen and café as scheduled. Follows established safety regulations at all times and reports any unsafe conditions to supervisors. Follows clean as you go policy. Understands uses of chemicals and cleaning agents. Performs weekly cleaning schedule. All other duties as assigned.

Prior work experience desirable. Ability to organize work required.
