Responsibilities Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to uphold sanitation standards Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning food items Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas through regular cleaning routines Support catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies and ensuring timely delivery of prepared items Follow food handling safety protocols to ensure hygiene and prevent cross-contamination Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods Dispose of waste properly and manage recycling processes in accordance with health regulations Skills Experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks with attention to detail Strong cleaning skills to maintain a hygienic kitchen environment Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus Excellent teamwork and communication skills in fast-paced settings Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, sinks, and prep stations Passion for hospitality, culinary arts, and providing exceptional guest experiences
