Duties Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients according to menu specifications Cook menu items with precision, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment to uphold food safety standards Support the dishwashing station by cleaning dishes, cookware, and kitchen tools efficiently Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues during busy service Qualifications Previous experience in a food industry setting Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills Strong knife skills and knowledge of proper food handling practices Experience with meal preparation and food safety protocols Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and servers
