Dishwasher / Dish Runner — Weekend Evenings Gilbertsville Farmhouse, a wedding venue in Gilbertsville NY, is hiring dishwashers for immediate start. Two roles are available and staff may be assigned to either based on the night's needs.

The Roles Dishwasher:

Operate the commercial dish machine through high volume wedding service. Pre rinse, rack, run, and stack. Keep the pit organized and the flow moving so the kitchen and front of house are never waiting on plates, glassware, or silver.

Dish Runner:

Stationed where used dishes come in from the floor. Receive bus tubs and racks from servers, scrape and consolidate, separate glass and silver, and transport everything to the dish station in an orderly stream. Other responsibilities include general kitchen cleaning, facility-wide space transformation and configuration as needed. Schedule General schedule is Fridays and Saturdays, 4pm to 12am. The season runs May through November. Some flexibility on additional shifts during peak weeks. Pay $18 per hour. Requirements Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly through an eight hour shift. Comfortable standing the full shift, working in a hot and wet environment, and moving quickly. Reliable transportation to Gilbertsville. No prior experience required, but kitchen or restaurant background is a plus. Must be at least 18.
