Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dishwasher/Busser to join our team in the fast-paced environment of our restaurant. This role is essential in ensuring that our dining area remains clean and welcoming for our guests while supporting the kitchen staff by maintaining a steady supply of clean dishes and utensils. Responsibilities Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen. Assist with bussing tables by clearing away used dishes and utensils promptly after guests finish their meals. Help set up and break down dining areas for service, including arranging tables and chairs as needed. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items. Adhere to food handling safety standards and sanitation practices at all times. Support catering events or hotel functions as needed by assisting with food service or cleaning tasks. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards in food handling. Willingness to help out wherever needed within the restaurant, demonstrating a team player attitude. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
