Dishwasher/Custodian

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting food service operations in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the overall success of our hospitality services. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and food preparation surfaces. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support the kitchen crew. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow during busy service periods. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling procedures and sanitation practices is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as needed. A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service are essential for success in this role.
