Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Dishwasher and become a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences! In this energetic role, you will ensure the cleanliness and organization of all kitchenware, dishes, and utensils, supporting our culinary staff to operate smoothly and efficiently. Your enthusiasm for maintaining a spotless environment will help uphold the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and hospitality. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop foundational kitchen skills and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel setting. Duties Thoroughly wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning properly. Assist with food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and handling basic ingredients when needed. Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for service. Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to maintain a welcoming environment for guests. Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards and prevent cross-contamination. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes during busy service hours. Experience Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Familiarity with food handling, cleaning protocols, and sanitation practices in a hospitality setting is advantageous. Experience working in banquet or catering environments can be a plus. Knowledge of basic kitchen operations such as bussing or food preparation enhances your ability to support the team effectively. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary operations and guest satisfaction.
