The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas. This position is essential for supporting our restaurant operations, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized promptly to facilitate smooth food service. Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Ensure all kitchen surfaces are kept clean and organized throughout the shift. Assist in maintaining cleanliness in food preparation areas by cleaning spills and removing waste. Help with the organization of kitchen supplies and inventory management as needed. Support food service staff during busy periods by assisting with basic food preparation tasks when required. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak service times. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices is beneficial. A background in hospitality or culinary arts can enhance your application but is not mandatory. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
