Responsibilities Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning procedures. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all work areas are organized and sanitary throughout shifts. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and prep work under supervision. Support the catering team by providing clean dishware for banquet events and special functions. Follow food handling safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage dish flow during busy service times, ensuring timely turnaround of items. Perform routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping floors, emptying trash bins, and maintaining overall kitchen hygiene. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential. Familiarity with basic food handling procedures and sanitation standards. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads such as trays or large pots.
