In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment while assisting with food preparation and service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure our kitchen runs smoothly, supporting our culinary team in delivering top-quality meals. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced hospitality setting, whether you're just starting out or bringing prior restaurant or hotel experience. Responsibilities Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health and safety standards Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and kitchen staff Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining areas, and service stations through regular cleaning routines Support catering and banquet setups by preparing food items and ensuring all serving ware is ready for events Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality in all food-related tasks Buss tables during service hours by clearing dishes, resetting tables, and assisting servers as needed Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively with colleagues and adhering to hospitality standards Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Knowledge of basic food handling, cleaning protocols, and kitchen safety practices Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending comfortably Experience with food preparation or catering is a plus, especially if you have banquet or hotel experience Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting the culinary team Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Embark on a rewarding journey in the hospitality industry where your energy fuels our success!
