Responsibilities Assist chefs and cooks with food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, cleaning countertops, and ensuring that all cooking utensils are sanitized. Help organize and store food items properly to ensure freshness and compliance with health standards. Support catering events by preparing food stations and assisting with serving as needed. Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy service periods. Skills Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Basic cooking skills or willingness to learn food preparation techniques. Experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not required. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. A proactive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen.
