AM/PM Dishwasher

Core Responsibilities and Duties Dish Cleaning & Sanitation:

Wash, dry, and sanitize all cutlery, plates, glassware, and cookware using automated dishwashers or by hand, following health and safety protocols.

Station Management:

Set up and maintain clean "dish pit" areas, ensuring cleaning equipment (machine/sinks) functions properly.

Kitchen Cleanliness:

Maintain clean floors, wash kitchen surfaces (walls, shelves), and clean walk-in refrigerators and freezers.

Waste Management:

Monitor and empty trash cans regularly, break down cardboard boxes, and ensure trash areas are organized.

Restocking & Inventory:

Quickly return clean dishes and pots to the kitchen and service lines to ensure a steady supply.

Support Roles:

Assist with light food preparation, unload food deliveries, and assist with closing duties.

Required Skills and Physical Qualifications Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. consistently throughout a shift.

Efficiency:

Ability to work quickly in a high-pressure, noisy environment.

Safety Adherence:

Strict adherence to sanitation standards (using chemicals and cleaning machinery).

Team Player:

Flexibility to support cooking staff and communicate effectively Work Environment and Schedule Often requires evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. Environment can be hot and humid. Provides a key entry-level opportunity for a career in the hospitality industry.
