Dishwasher La Tavola Ristorante Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring a smooth operation for food preparation, service, and catering events. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting a high-quality hospitality environment. Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is a plus but not required; training will be provided. Duties Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas during service hours Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic cooking and plating assistance Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, workstations, and storage areas to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations Help with catering setups and breakdowns for events or large functions Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure quality standards are met Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential Knowledge of food handling safety practices and cleaning protocols Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent teamwork and communication skills Flexibility to work evenings and weekends A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
