Job Description
- Overview
- We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our kitchen team in a fast-paced hotel setting.
- Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment in a timely and efficient manner
- Load and unload dishes and equipment from the dishwasher
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area
- Assist in food preparation and plating as needed
- Provide support to the culinary team during meal service
- Participate in banquets, catering events, and other special occasions
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure that all areas of the kitchen meet high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Requirements
- Experience in a food service or hotel setting
- Knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Culinary or food service certification is an asset
- Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
