Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Dishwasher to join our café/bakery team. The Dishwasher plays an essential role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. This position supports both the front and back of house by ensuring dishes, utensils, baking equipment, and work areas are consistently clean and sanitized. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, baking trays, and kitchen equipment. Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently. Keep dishwashing stations, sinks, and surrounding work areas clean and organized. Remove trash and recycling and maintain cleanliness in waste disposal areas. Assist with basic kitchen cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Restock clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen supplies as needed. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations. Support kitchen and bakery staff with additional cleaning and organizational tasks as assigned. Qualifications Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to cleanliness and organization. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team. Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
