Duties Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly. Assist with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients when needed. Support bussing activities by clearing tables and resetting dining areas promptly during service hours. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing station and ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for food service or catering events. Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health regulations and safety standards. Assist with general cleaning duties in the kitchen and dining areas to promote a hygienic environment. Experience Previous experience working in a restaurant, hotel, catering service, or food service environment is preferred. Familiarity with food handling procedures and sanitation standards is highly desirable. Experience in bussing or supporting food preparation tasks will be considered an asset. Knowledge of kitchen operations including dishwashing techniques, cleaning protocols, and basic culinary support is advantageous. Prior banquet or catering experience can be beneficial for supporting large-scale events. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
