Dishwasher/Prep Cook

Overview We are looking for dependable and hardworking Dishwashers to join our culinary team at The Miners Hotel 1928. This role is essential to keeping our kitchen operations running smoothly while maintaining the cleanliness and organization expected in a high-end hospitality environment. Duties Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, portioning, and assembling ingredients for various menu items Support the kitchen team by preparing ingredients according to recipes and standards, ensuring timely meal service Follow food safety protocols diligently to prevent contamination and ensure proper handling of all food items Maintain cleanliness of workstations, including counters, sinks, and storage areas, throughout shifts Aid in setting up and breaking down prep stations for daily operations or catering events Support the overall flow of the kitchen by serving as a reliable team player in a fast-paced environment Experience Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented attitude Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen equipment when needed Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred, but not required This energetic position invites motivated individuals eager to grow their culinary skills while supporting a vibrant kitchen environment.
