Dishwasher/Food Prep

dolce Zola is a restaurant concept creating northern Italian dishes featuring local ingredients. The person for this position will be in charge of cleaning the dishes at the dishwasher station and keeping the kitchen in optimal conditions.

Physical:

Must be able to exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to eight hours in length and be able to bend and squat. Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Mental:

The most important quality is the ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Speed and strategizing while working at this station is expected. Know and learn about the tools or equipment used.

Required days:

Friday, Saturday and Sunday Shifts start at 3 pm Responsibilities Keep all dishes, silverware, and glasses clean and stocked Will be the key person to keep a steady flow of clean dishes coming out of the dishwasher Clean the equipment at the end of the night Sweep and mop the kitchen to make sure it is clean at the end of dinner service Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards Maintain a positive and passionate approach to food and coworkers Follow the prep list created by chefs to plan duties Prepare salads, appetizers, desserts, and cold dishes Maintain clean and organized app station during service Restock station throughout shift Follow plating standards and recipes consistently Assist kitchen with basic prep as needed Communicate with line cooks and expo during service Requirements Understanding of time management when cleaning the dishes Excellent record of getting things done in a timely and effective manner Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions Familiar with the industry's best practices Skills Good Communication Teamwork Oriented Maintains a
