Dishwasher/Prep

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwashers to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our guests have a positive dining experience by having clean and sanitized dishes and utensils. Restaurant is opened Tuesday thru Saturday 4pm to 9pm. There is another dishwasher on Thursday Friday and Saturday We are closed most Sundays and Mondays except if a major holiday falls on these days which you would be required to work. Or if an event is scheduled on these days where you might need to work.

Duties:

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand
• Ensure that all dishes and utensils are properly cleaned, sanitized, and stored
• Assist with very basic food prep tasks such as peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients but usually only in down times
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, countertops, and work areas
• Empty trash containers regularly to maintain cleanliness and prevent odors
• Follow proper safety and sanitation procedures at all times
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a hospitality or food handling role is preferred but not necessary
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment and utensils
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

From $19.00 per hour
