In this vital role, you will ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment, supporting the smooth operation of our food service environment. Responsibilities Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools efficiently and thoroughly Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Assist with food preparation tasks such as basic plating or ingredient handling as needed Support catering and banquet events by providing timely dishwashing services Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely clearing of tables and proper food handling procedures Follow proper procedures for waste disposal and recycling to uphold environmental standards Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock needs replenishing Uphold high standards of cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen and dining environment Assist with general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Willingness to support various kitchen functions such as bussing, food preparation, or serving when required Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items safely Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic workspace This position is an essential part of our hospitality team dedicated to delivering outstanding service.
