Responsibilities Efficiently clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health and safety standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as washing vegetables or organizing ingredients under supervision. Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas are tidy for incoming guests. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, storage areas, and dining spaces through regular cleaning routines. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy service periods, including catering or banquet events. Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Assist in setting up and breaking down banquet or event spaces as needed. Qualifications Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required. Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and food handling safety standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen and dining operations. Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation, catering, and restaurant procedures. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably. Experience with catering or banquet setups is a plus but not mandatory.
