Assist with food preparation tasks such as organizing ingredients and supporting catering or banquet setups when needed. Support food handling procedures by ensuring proper storage and disposal of waste to uphold health standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely clearing of tables during busy service periods. Follow safety protocols for handling cleaning chemicals and maintaining a hazard-free workspace. Contribute to a positive team environment by demonstrating flexibility in duties like bussing tables or assisting with light food prep during peak hours. Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required—training will be provided! Knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling safety standards, and sanitation practices. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy trays or pots. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to support various kitchen functions. Experience in banquet service, catering, or hotel settings is a plus but not mandatory. Basic understanding of food preparation and serving processes enhances your ability to contribute effectively.
