Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detailed Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of food items, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and ensuring that all food handling practices meet safety standards. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of various food items according to established recipes and guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and cleaning surfaces. Support cooking staff by preparing ingredients, such as chopping vegetables and measuring ingredients. Participate in banquet and catering events by setting up food stations and serving guests as needed. Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to maintain safety and hygiene standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak service times. Experience Previous experience in food preparation or a related culinary role is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with food service operations, including restaurant or hotel environments, is advantageous. Experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus. Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food handling practices is essential.
