Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. This position is essential for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized, contributing to the overall success of our food service operations in a fast-paced environment. Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, ensuring all items are properly stored after cleaning. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and helping with kitchen organization. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Support kitchen staff by keeping the flow of clean dishes consistent during peak service times. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen supervisor promptly. Experience Previous experience in a food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with culinary practices, including food handling and preparation techniques, is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented atmosphere within a restaurant or catering setting. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen. Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks as needed in a dynamic kitchen environment.
