The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. As a Dishwasher, you will ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized promptly to support our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen by regularly sweeping and mopping floors. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking. Help with bussing tables to ensure a clean dining area for guests. Follow food handling safety standards to ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow during peak hours. Report any maintenance or repair needs of dishwashing equipment to management. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling safety practices is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Willingness to assist in various kitchen tasks beyond dishwashing as needed.
