Dishwasher/Busser

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher/Busser to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. This role is essential for maintaining cleanliness and organization in our kitchen and dining areas. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to providing excellent support to our kitchen staff and servers. In-person application is also encouraged.

Duties:

Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met. Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients. Bus tables promptly after guests leave, ensuring that all dishes and utensils are removed efficiently. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas by sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces regularly, as well as taking out trashes. Support kitchen staff during peak hours by assisting with food handling and other tasks as needed. Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Experience:

Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred. Familiarity with food handling practices is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere. Ability to lift heavy trash. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards. Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and service.
