Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables
• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
• Assist in cooking and meal preparation under the guidance of a chef or cook
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment
• Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment after each use
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

Skills:

• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
• Strong attention to detail to ensure food quality and presentation
• Good time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members
• Ability to handle knives and other kitchen tools safely
