In this energetic role, you will ensure the cleanliness and organization of kitchenware, assist with food preparation, and support the culinary team in maintaining a smooth and efficient operation. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food handling, kitchen operations, and hospitality service while working in a lively, fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and catering staff. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, dining areas, and service spaces through regular cleaning and sanitation. Support catering events and banquet setups by organizing supplies and assisting with food presentation. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality in all food-related activities. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods and special events. Adhere to all safety protocols, health regulations, and company policies to promote a safe working environment. Skills Experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is highly valued. Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices. Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks with efficiency and attention to detail. Familiarity with kitchen equipment cleaning procedures and maintenance. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary operations. Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus but not required.
