Job Description
Position SummaryThe PM Dishwasher plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment. This position is responsible for washing dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment while supporting the kitchen team with cleaning and closing duties.
ResponsibilitiesWash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish area throughout service.
Properly operate and maintain dishwashing equipment.
Remove trash and recycling from kitchen and service areas as needed.
Sweep, mop, and clean kitchen floors during and after service.
Assist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks, including wiping down workstations and equipment.
Restock clean dishes, cookware, and utensils to designated storage areas.
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Assist kitchen staff with additional cleaning and organizational projects as assigned.
Complete all closing side work and cleaning checklists before the end of the shift.
QualificationsPrevious restaurant experience preferred but not required.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
