Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas. This position is essential for ensuring that our food service operations run smoothly, supporting both our culinary staff and the overall dining experience for our guests. If you live in San Antonio, please DO NOT APPLY, the commute will be to much. Duties Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors by sweeping and mopping as needed. Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including basic food handling and cleaning of food prep areas. Support catering and banquet services by ensuring all necessary items are cleaned and ready for use. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures in accordance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes and utensils. Requirements Previous experience in a food service environment is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.
