We are a fun, guest-focused resort where every team member plays an important role in creating exceptional experiences for our guests. As a Kitchen Steward / Dishwasher, you'll help keep our culinary operations running smoothly by maintaining clean, sanitized, and organized kitchen and service areas. This position is essential to supporting our restaurants, catering operations, events, and food service teams by ensuring dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are always clean and ready for service. Whether working behind the scenes during restaurant service or supporting large-scale events and concerts, you'll be a critical part of our Food & Beverage team. Key Responsibilities:
Dishwashing Operations:
Greet fellow team members and support kitchen operations with a positive, team-oriented attitude. Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment. Operate commercial dishwashing equipment and hand-wash items as needed. Ensure a continuous supply of clean dishes and utensils for kitchen and service teams. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing stations, sinks, and surrounding work areas. Stewarding & Kitchen Support:
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, drains, walls, storage areas, and service areas. Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment, coolers, freezers, and storage spaces. Properly handle and dispose of trash, recycling, and food waste. Restock clean dishes, utensils, and supplies throughout the kitchen and service areas. Support opening, closing, and deep-cleaning duties as assigned. Assist kitchen and Food & Beverage team members as needed during service periods. Provide support with basic food preparation tasks during peak business periods when assigned. Health, Safety & Sanitation:
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards. Use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and tools safely and according to established procedures. Maintain compliance with company safety policies and proper use of personal protective equipment. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment concerns promptly. Help maintain a clean, safe, organized, and inspection-ready kitchen environment. Teamwork & Guest Experience:
Support restaurant, banquet, catering, food truck, and event operations through cleanliness and organization. Work collaboratively with cooks, servers, bartenders, and management to maintain smooth operations. Help maintain the high standards of cleanliness that contribute to an exceptional guest experience. Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall resort operations. Qualifications:
Previous dishwashing, stewarding, janitorial, or kitchen support experience preferred. Food Handler Certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire). Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail. Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures. Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a positive attitude. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak season hours. Must adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and food safety requirements. Schedule:
