The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing excellent service to our guests. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping floors, and taking out the trash regularly. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients. Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all serving items are clean and ready for use. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times. Help with bussing tables and cleaning dining areas when necessary. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food service operations, including cooking and food preparation techniques. Experience in banquet service or catering is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary tasks and kitchen operations. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other staff members.
