Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing excellent service to our guests. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans used in food preparation and service. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, counters, and equipment. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and helping cooks during busy periods. Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and hygiene standards. Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely cleaning of items during peak service times. Dispose of waste properly and assist in maintaining an organized kitchen environment. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere within the hospitality industry. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed. A positive attitude with a willingness to help others in a busy kitchen setting.
