Job Role Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and work areas in the hotel restaurant, ensuring a safe and efficient kitchen environment. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, and pans using commercial machines or by hand. Maintain cleanliness of dish area, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing supplies. Restock clean items in designated areas for kitchen and dining service. Remove trash and clean garbage bins regularly. Assist with occasional kitchen prep or receiving supplies. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department requirements. Supportive Functions Help team members with general cleaning and organization tasks as assigned. Maintain safe floors and work spaces to prevent slips or accidents. Support kitchen operations during busy periods with positive, team-focused energy. Requirements Reliable work ethic and attention to detail. Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks during shifts, including lifting up to 20 lbs. Basic understanding of commercial dishwashing equipment and cleaning procedures preferred, but not required. Willingness to follow instructions and learn kitchen safety procedures. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
