Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests. Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and preparation duties. Help with bussing tables during peak hours to ensure a smooth flow of service. Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for service. Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and maintain high standards of cleanliness. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is a plus. Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively during busy shifts.
