Dishwasher

Job Description:

Sakura Ramen is looking for a reliable, hard-working, and experienced Dishwasher to join our team. We operate a fast-paced kitchen, and we need someone who is efficient, organized, and works exceptionally well in a team environment. Excellent communication with both kitchen staff and front-of-house team members (like servers) is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans efficiently using both a commercial dishwasher and manual methods. Maintain a clean, sanitized, and well-organized kitchen workstation. Communicate effectively with servers and other kitchen staff to ensure clean dishes and utensils are promptly cycled back into service. Safely operate and properly maintain dishwashing equipment. Properly stack and store clean dishes and kitchen utensils. Assist with trash removal and general kitchen cleaning as needed. Follow all health and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

Previous dishwasher experience in a busy restaurant environment is required.

English communication skills required:

Must be able to speak and understand English to communicate and coordinate effectively with team members (Spanish-only speakers cannot be accommodated due to communication needs with front-of-house staff).

Strong team player:

Ability to work smoothly and cooperatively under a fast-paced team setting.

Physical stamina:

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs. Reliability, punctuality, and a high sense of responsibility.

Pay:

$100.00 - $150.00 per day
